Adult physiotherapy

Physiotherapy for adults

We provide physiotherapy for adults for acute and chronic musculoskeletal pain, long-term difficulties and as part of rehabilitation after injuries or surgery.

The aim is not only relief from pain, but above all removing its cause and returning to full movement. Problems rarely arise by chance.

They are often the result of long-term poor posture, one-sided or excessive load, lack of movement, or a consequence of injury or illness. That is why our therapy also addresses your overall lifestyle – the balance between work, rest and physical activity.

The examination includes assessing your posture while sitting, standing and moving.

How does the therapy work?

If the cause of your problems is linked to poor posture or unsuitable movement habits, we begin targeted therapy. We explain the context of your difficulties and help you become more aware of your own body. Using physiotherapy techniques we work on reducing or removing pain, suggest adjustments to your daily routine and work environment, and teach you individual exercises that you can easily fit in at home, at work and in your free time. We also recommend suitable physical activity or sport.

Thanks to modern diagnostic procedures and a precise therapeutic approach, we can address your problems in a targeted and effective way. Our therapy draws on knowledge of neurophysiology, developmental kinesiology and manual medicine. For most clients the first positive changes are noticeable within a few visits, usually within five sessions.

We normally set aside 55 minutes for one visit, so there is room not only for therapy but also for explanation and education.
